How to pre-load GTA VI on PS5 and Xbox in Ireland

Rockstar's 3 November announcement says digital pre-loading begins Tuesday, 10 November 2026.

• PlayStation 5: Midnight local time in your time zone.
• Xbox Series X|S: 12:00 a.m. GMT globally.

For Ireland, both of those timings correspond to midnight at the start of 10 November.

How much space will I need?

Rockstar says the pre-load requires up to 212 GB, depending on the device. Leave some extra headroom for system requirements and future updates.

How do I prepare?

1. Make sure you have the digital entitlement or a valid game code.
2. Free up enough console storage.
3. Enable automatic downloads on your console, if preferred.
4. Keep your console in the correct power/rest mode for background downloading.
5. Check your library on 10 November and follow your platform's download prompts.
